A front-facing design prevents the unit from having to be rotated or cleaning and preparation, with a horizontal door-style enclosure that houses the filter basket and water tank opening. While the included digital display functions regularly as a 24-hour clock, it can also be programmed to begin a delayed brewing session at any time of day. This allows users to get on with their day while the machine starts up on its own, preparing a fresh pot for maximum convenience. Alternatively, coffee can be taken mid-brew via the "Pause And Serve" function, pausing the machine when the carafe is removed and restarting when it is replaced.A front-facing water level indicator is included for simple and accurate gauging of input levels, and the included filter is a permanent "Gold-Tone" model that will last up to a year before needing replacement. In addition, the DCF210TTC features a time-release "Aroma Button" function that sporadically releases small amounts of hot water into the dry grounds, achieving a slow-roasted brew with optimal flavor quality.
