Featured are many of the same components, including a stainless steel boiler, a self-priming operation, and a dual function filter holder that can accommodate a Sempre Crema Filter and an ESE Filter. There’s also a Cappuccino System Frother chamber that mixes steam and milk to manufacture a cream. Notable benefits to the DeLonghi EC702 include support for different filters (single shot, double shot) and pods. The system does have a reputation for being extremely loud and, like its predecessor, sometimes leaky.
