The Cons:Can only take a small amount of pre-ground coffee. Machine housing is plastic, creates a point of vulnerability. Keeping the frother clean is a bit involved, needs to be done regularly.
The DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM3300 is a mid-grade fully automatic Espresso machine. The body of the device is completely encased in a silver finish, and at the same time it only weighs an approximated total of 27 pounds.

The ESAM3300 includes a 60 ounce (7 1/2 cup) removable water tank; and has a built in cup warmer and hot water spout to provide extra support for tea and hot chocolate. In addition the device also includes programming buttons with special settings to adjust coffee strength and size. The Magnifica ESAM3300 takes advantage of the patented "Direct-to-Brew" function which utilizes the thermoblock technology to provide full heat distribution for each pot and ensure the beverage remains warm. The entire device includes fully detachable equipment that can be easily cleaned between use; and it is all dishwasher safe. The DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM3300 espresso machine includes additional features such as a built-in professional quality conical burr grinder, an instant reheat function, a double size boiler with a specialized stainless steel espresso boiler, a decalcification system, patented cappucino system frother, height adjustable coffee spouts, and a fully removable used coffee container and drip tray.

#delonghi_magnifica_esam3300 The DeLonghi ESAM3300 Magnifica Super Automatic Coffee Machine certainly lacks many of the mentioned problems. It's not a cheap machine, but it is relatively reasonably priced for an espresso coffee maker, and it does a great job, grinds the beans fresh before the brew (uses a conical burr grinder), makes super coffee, espresso, cappuccinos and lattes, nice crema! It seems to be durable. It does not have an auto-timer, but brews quite fast anyway.
