The Pros:Picks up a remarkable amount of dirt and debris as compared to other models from LG and Dirt Devil - great for pet owners/people with children. Performs just as well as the higher-end units from Dyson - Root Cyclone system provides "steam cleaner" power and performance.
The Cons:Suction power is too high to be used on thinner, free-standing materials - light area rugs, dog beds etc. cannot be properly cleaned. Unit is very heavy - many users experience joint/muscle discomfort during extended cleaning sessions, even with the self-propelling brush function enabled. Seemingly overpriced considering the feature set - similar models with more versatility are available for a fraction of the price.
The Dyson DC17 All Floors is an upright style canister vacuum designed by Dyson, as the name suggests, for use on any floor type. It uses Level 3 Root Cyclone technology to efficiently capture microscopic dust into the hygienic and easy to clean bin with no messy bags and loss of suction and has lifetime HEPA filter which expels 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you breathe.

Thanks to these features, this vacuum is certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. The motorized brush bar can be turned off with the touch of a button to easily change from carpeting to hard floors. while the Quick-draw Telescope Reach wand extends instantly to help clean stairs and other hard to reach areas.
