It has the Root Cyclone technology that all Dyson's possess and has been received with a lot of fanfare mainly because of its easy maneuverabilty, flexible steering and narrower width while still maintaining strong suction power. It includes a HEPA filter and works on all floor types.

A good vacuum is a worthwhile investment for people who are sensitive to dust and especially those with pets. Dyson's have become increasingly popular because of their strong suctioning power and James Dyson's infamous tag line, "the vacuum that never loses suction" has yet to be refuted. However, there has been some complaints that Dyson's suck up carpet fibers as well as other debris.
