The Dyson DC31 is a handheld canister-style vacuum cleaner offered by Dyson. It is powered by the Dyson digital motor which is smaller, lighter and more powerful than conventional motors with no carbon brushes or carbon dust.

It uses Root Cyclone technology which uses centrifugal forces to spin dust out of the air and into the hygienic and easy to clean bin with no messy bags and loss of suction. It has a lightweight design, weighing only 2.9 lbs, and has balanced ergonomic weight distribution for easy handling. The dual power modes let you have 10 minutes of constant high suction or 6 minutes with 70% higher suction. The Dyson DC31 is also energy star qualified for energy efficient operation.
