The Pros:Suction is very good, will pull up deeply buried dirt and pet hair. Flexible beater will work with all kinds of carpet. Design prevents the hose from ever clogging.
The Cons:Very loud while in operation, will dominate the space with noise. Hose isn't very long, end up stretching it out after some use.
The Eureka Capture 8853 is a bagless upright vacuum specially designed for cleaning up after pets. The vacuum features a telescopic self-cleaning duster that can reach up to 3 feet away and includes dual-powered Edge Kleeners for cleaning right around the baseboards.

It also comes with Eureka's Power Paw Power brush handtool for cleaning pet hair off stairs and upholstery and has a sealed HEPA filtration system for trapping dust and allergens. The Capture 8853 includes Charcoal odor elimination technology to absorb pet odors and has a filter change indicator to tell you when the filters need replacing. The brushroll of it's 15"-wide nozzle can be turned off, allowing it to be used on both carpet and bare floors, and it has a height adjustment feature to effectively clean based on the surface. It comes with a nested crevice wand, pet upholstery brush, and a 1 year warranty.
