The Friedrich SS16L30 is an ENERGY STAR qualified window air-conditioner designed for rooms between 250 and 1500 square feet. Weighing at 119 pounds, the SS16L30 is a lighter yet more powerful counterpart to the bulky SS14L10 in that it outputs 16,200 BTU (versus 14,000).

Like its peer, the SS16L30 features unique ComfortWatch technology that works to maintain a more even temperature by monitoring and anticipating fluctuations in room temperature. Plus, the SS16L30 boasts a mosquito trap, Entrygard protection that secure the chassis to the sleeve, and a 24-hour timer that lets the user program on/off times while also backing-up the settings in case of a power interruption.
