The body design is composed of a durable ABS plastic; the exterior is then topped off with a professional finish that is available in several different colors; white, ivory (off-white), black (dark gray), and silver (gradient). The Evolution device can brew Cappucinos, lattes, and tea; and also includes support for an optional milk island accessory. A special built-in Pannarello steam wand provides superior milk frothing for certain required beverages (thick cappucinos and lattes) and also provides hot water for cocoa, tea or soup. The Gaggia Evolution model includes additional features such as a high powered 15 bar pump pressure, a chrome plated brass portafilter and brew group for temperature stability, a fully detachable 1.25 liter (42 ounce or 5-1/4 cups) water tank which allows easier cleaning and fill-up methods, a heated cup warmer, and support to brew and prepare two beverages at once. The Gaggia Evolution machine also comes bundled with 2 stainless steel filter baskets, a coffee tamper and a coffee scoop as additional accessories.
