Gaggia for illy

The Gaggia for illy is a premium espresso machine designed for making café-quality espressos at home. Designed exclusively for the illy iperEspresso capsule system, the Gaggia for illy single-serve espresso machine takes capsules, which must be purchased separately, and automatically brews the beverage.

Included is a capsule container that can hold up to 12 spent capsules, a 15-bar pump responsible for the brewing, and a Mavea Water Filter that relies on a four-stage filtration system to purify the water (which is assumed to be tap), thereby reducing mineral buildup. As of early 2011, there are only four types of available capsules: Medium Roast, Dark Roast, Lungo, and Decaf.
