The Pros:General usage is simple and quick. Allows precise dialing of the type of drink you want brewed. Produces lots of froth that has just the right consistency.
The Gaggia Platinum Swing model is a high-end fully automatic Espresso machine. The machine is more specifically designed for personal consumer use, meaning more home-based appliance but that is not to say however that the device can't be used commercially for a small business.

The body design is composed of a durable ABS plastic and is encased in a stainless steel which surrounds the entire exterior; the exterior is then topped off with a professional titanium color finish. The Platinum Swing device can brew Cappucinos, lattes, and tea automatically; and also includes an optional milk island. For convenience the device provides a built-in commercial quality conical burr grinder that can physically be altered through menu settings to grind coffee beans medium or coarse depending on user preference. The 8.8 ounce bean hopper catches the beans after being grinded and allows an adjustable amount of 7 to 10-1/2 grams of ground coffee for use. The most advanced feature of the Platinum Swing is the complete digital programming menu; the buttons include a click dial and certain preset functions that control coffee quantity, intensity, and body which is displayed via the fully backlit LCD screen and alerts via touch ring sounds. A special built-in Pannarello steam wand provides superior milk frothing for certain required beverages (thick cappucinos and lattes) and also provides hot water for cocoa, tea or soup. The Gaggia Platinum Swing model includes additional features such as a high powered 15 bar pump pressure, a stainless steel lined boiler with rapid steam boiling support for quick beverage preperation, Aqua Prima water filter compatibility, a fully detachable 57 ounce water tank which allows easier cleaning and fillup methods, a stainless steel passively heated cup warmer, a height adjustable cup tray, and support to brew and prepare two beverages at once.
