Full electronic controls are mounted upon the GLD6700N front panel complete with 6 cycles and 3 different option settings; this enables users the choice of many different washing cycles. The GLD6700N also features a giant interior tub with what GE claims to be "maximum racking capacity", the unit can wash up to 16 dirty place (meal) settings at once and still has room left for large pans and tall items. Two features specific to the 6700N series appliances include a "maximum capacity" 3-piece silverware basket with 3 cell covers and an extra basket compartment that can be placed in either the top or bottom washing rack; and two utility shelves included in the tiered upper rack designed with patented Stemsafe silver material.
