Haier ESAX3186

The Haier ESAX3186 is a powerful built-in room air conditioner that can be installed either in a window or through the wall and is a step up from Haier's ESA3125.  The unit is Energy Star qualified with a 10.7 rating for higher energy conservation and offers a cooling power of 17,000 BTUs compared to the 12,000 BTUs of the ESA3125.

  It features electronic controls, digital time and temperature display, and a full-function remote control making it easy to control the unit from across the room.  Like the ESA3125, the ESAX3186 includes 3 cool and 3 fan speeds and utilizes a top-discharge airflow pattern for fast and efficient cooling.  It is designed to operate ultra-quiet and has an electrostatic air filter which is more efficient and traps more dust and allergens than standard filters.  The unit also has hydrophilic resin-coated coils which resist corrosion, a dehumidification mode, and a 24-hour timer.  The ESAX3186 comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
