Haier HWR12XC5

Released January, 2007
The Pros:Will last for many years and give consistent performance the whole time. Works great for medium-sized apartments, keeps the whole place cool. Reasonably quiet on low fan speed.
The Cons:Included side flaps don't create an air-tight seal, and bugs can come in. Gets a little noisy at higher settings. Temperature sensor isn't always very accurate.
