It is an ENERGY STAR qualified device which means it uses less water and less electricity than normal washers, making it a buy for those who want to lower their utility bills.

The manufacturer claims that it costs only $26-$34 dollars a year. The Kenmore 1358 includes the Tall Tub design which allows it to accommodate larger dishware, such as pots, tall platters, over-sized dinner plates and other hard to wash items. It uses a SmartWash Cycle to customize the energy, time and water for each individual load.
