Kenmore 5894

The Kenmore 5894 is a 25.1 cu.ft. side-by-side style refrigerator. It has many features such as water/ice dispenser with user changeable water filtration system (bought separately). Other features includes humidity controlled crisper, adjustable gallon door bins, and adjustable spill proof shelves.

Inside the refrigerator there is a dial for temperature adjustments and an usage indicator for the water filter. Whilst the 5894 might seem like a bargain with it's low price point and large range of features, a quick look at the energy usage says otherwise. At 721kWh of energy used per year it is in fact one of the least energy efficient refrigerators when compared to similar refrigerators. It might not be such a bargain after all in terms of running costs. Kenmore's more expensive offerings packs even more feature with a lower operating cost.
