Keurig Special Edition

$140.00 Released February, 2010

Product Shot 1The Keurig Special Edition is a single-cup home coffee maker designed strictly for households. It was released as a bit more affordable counterpart to the Platinum model. It maintains many of its peer’s features—a programmable LCD message center, a blue backlit LCD display, and Quiet-Brew technology—but hosts a smaller 48oz water reservoir.

The biggest downgrade though is in regard to the cup sizes, which go from 5 to just 3: 6oz, 8oz and 10oz. Critics especially appreciate the unit's stylish chrome design, though many have complained that the Special Edition model is less durable, harder to clean, loud & noisy and limited by too few cup sizes.
