The NN-SD967S is a higher-end, stainless-steel microwave oven from Panasonic. The 2.2 cu. ft. unit, with a maximum power of 1250 W, features Panasonic's 'Inverter Technology', which aims to transmit energy in a consistent, uniform manner, resulting in superior cooking, as heat is transmitted evenly.

Other features include Turbo Defrost, which Panasonic says defrosts food faster than previous defrost functions. Other upscale functionality includes a setting to keep foods warm by emitting very low levels of power. The user interface is also designed to be elegant and intuitive, with a black, reflective front door, and a dial rather than a keypad for setting cooking times.
