The Sharp R-230KW is a tiny, compact, and lightweight microwave oven. A step-up from the R-220KW and R-209KK models, this unit adds along a variety of short cuts for easily melting, softening, and warming foods.

Like its peers, however, it still hosts a plethora of general microwave functions: four cook options, six reheat options, and even a defroster for defrosting meats and poultry. It does, however, maintain a relatively small area of .8 cu ft, but hosts up to 800W of power. Note also its Minute-Plus technology, per which the numbered keys (1-9) each pertain to a set # of minutes. This allows a user to quickly heat foods: 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc.
