The R-820BK is an entry-level convection microwave oven featuring dual grills that emit radiant heat both over and under food. It includes a plethora of options for custom-cooking various food options, including CompuBake (french fries, biscuits), CompuPizza (microwave pizza), CompuGrill (steaks, burgers), CompuRoast (chicken, fish), CompuCook (popcorn), and CompuDefrost.

Perhaps most unique about the R-820BK is its extra-large display panel, which is in fact 2-line and hosts up to 12 digits—quite larger than a conventional microwave display. Note also that the unit retails in two models: black, white.
