Aside from these basic amenities, the ED2DHEXWL comes equipped with a Dispenser Control Lockout to keep young children from operated the device, a Filter Change Indicator Light to warn when it is time to replace the water filter, an Automatic Defrost System, and an Automatic Ice Maker. The ED2DHEXWL comes with several opaque and clear shelves and large bins, both adjustable and fixed. The entire unit has a capacity of 21.7 cubic feet, with 14.4 allotted to the fridge and 7.3 allotted to the freezer. The unit's D/H/W are 33-3/4" x 66-3/4" x 32-3/4" respectively and comes in the colours White, Black, and Stainless Steel. The ED2DHEXWL is Energy Star Certified.
The Ice Dispenser gives both crushed and cubed ice. The temperature and humidity is controlled by an internal dial, and controls a snack, crisper, and meat pan. The door of the unit opens to a 90 degree angle.
