Whirlpool WED5300VW

$449.00 Released May, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Runs very quiet, appropriate for an apartment setting. Timer buzzer is loud enough to be heard from the other room, can be turned off if desired. Light inside the drum ensures nothing gets left in there.

The Cons:Prone to frequent breakdowns within the first few months of ownership. Takes a very long time to dry clothes, often need to start it up again after the cycle ends. Lint screen on the top of the unit is easy to forget to clear out.

The Whirlpool WED5300VW is a Super Capacity Plus electric dryer from the Capacity series that features an AccuDry Sensor that measures moisture and temperature levels to automatically stop the cycle when the load is dry, thereby helping to conserve almost 10% more energy than other Whirpool dryer models.
